Having a hard time deciding on how to do your makeup for an upcoming event? Look no further, because we've gathered a list of beauty looks inspired by three A-list celebrities that are bound to spark some ideas for your next party.
The Classic Look
Nothing beats the simplicity and chicness of a red lip. This first look is inspired by Brie Larson, who was attending the Golden Globe Awards. Brie's makeup artist, Rachel Goodwin, did an amazing job when deciding on a soft brown eye makeup look combined with powerful red lipstick. You can create a similar version using NARS Jungle Red lipstick, Benefit Cosmetics Goof Proof Brow Pencil and Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner.
The Metallic Look
Everyone deserves a bit of spotlight from time to time and this can be achieved by adding a bit of sparkle to your makeup. This next look is inspired by Emma Stone’s Golden Globes makeup (also by Rachel Goodwin), that truly made her look like the star she is. Stone's makeup was achieved using NARS Earthshine Eyeshadow, which was placed in the inner corner of her eyes, NARS Rosecliff Lipstick, a bit of eyeliner and mascara, as well as perfectly groomed brows.
The No-Makeup Makeup Look
The natural makeup look is by far the most popular one as well as a look you can never go wrong with. The benefits of this look are that it does not detract from the outfit, but instead makes you look more polished. Another bonus it that it is not very time consuming. Jessica Biel’s makeup artist, Kara Yoshimoto Bua, gave her a clean makeup look for the Golden Globe Awards while working with Chanel. Biel's makeup was accomplished using Chanel Le Volume de Mascara, Ligne Graphique de Chanel Eyeliner and Le Rouge Crayon de Couleur.
