Look good at all times by following Ashley Graham’s beauty routines! As she explains: “Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. Rock your confidence”. Graham is a total inspiration and muse to a lot of women as she is a “plus size” model, if we can even call it that. She is very concerned about society’s problems with body image and is a body activist as well as a founding member of ALDA. Her intentions are to empower women, praise acceptance of “plus size” bodies and change the understanding of beauty.
Graham definitely follows a good skincare routine, living by the motto: “If your skin is looking good, you are looking good”. She is constantly taking care of her skin using NUXE Dry Skin Moisturizing Cream Crème Fraîche de Beauté Enriched Moisturizer to keep her face and neck hydrated and smooth. Yes, on the neck, as it is important to apply cream there as well. She also applies an eye cream around the eye area. Interestingly enough, she has been using one since the age of 15. Then, during the day she constantly sprays rose water on her face to maintain it hydrated all day long.
Not only does she take close care of her face, but also her lips and hands. In her bag, she carries a nail oil, lip balm and hand lotion to fight against cracked hands and lips during winter.
As we all know, maintaining skin’s condition not only includes applying creams, but also following a healthy diet, exercise routine and good physiology. Graham does take care of the two factors that can be controlled: diet and exercise. She eats a variety of all foods, but usually on the healthy side. For instance, she indulges in a daily green juice which is a good detox beverage that helps clear the face. Also, Graham is very keen on exercise, which can be seen on her Instagram. On top of all that, she even takes her resistance bands with her when she travels, which undoubtedly not that many would do…

Getting red carpet ready? These are the steps she follows… So, you might want to pay close attention:
The hydration of the skin is really important for its appearance. Therefore, Ashley Graham applies a facial moisturizer and eye cream before applying any make-up.
2. Cover Up
Afterwards, to cover any imperfections and even out the skin tone, she uses a foundation. Graham recommends to tap the foundation onto the skin as she believes that it is not good for it to let it ‘sink in’. Further on, she covers the dark circles and blemishes with a concealer. Remember that it has to match the foundation’s colour!
3. Powder Up
No one wants their makeup to melt off so it is important to brush on a setting powder to set the make-up and make it last longer. Then, to brighten up the face and give it some colour, Graham recommends using a cream blush to get dewy cheeks.
Finally, to give shape to the face and emphasize the features, contouring is used on the cheekbones, at the hair line and down the jawline.

4. Eyes, Eyes, Eyes
Graham accentuates the eyes as she believes it is a very important feature. This consists of applying eyeshadow in a light shade (Graham uses a bronzer). To later on sharpen the eyes, use an eyeliner on the inside of the upper eyelids. Additionally, to give shape and colour to the eyelashes, use a black volumizing mascara.

5. Perfect the Look
Perfect the look with some final touches. A highlighter can be placed on multiple places and help give the appearance a mesmerizing glow. Graham uses it in abundance: on the upper cheeks, on the lips (as it is said to make them look healthy) and on the collarbone, if they are exposed. To frame the face, fill in and set the eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil.
Tip: Graham places hair spray on the eyebrow brush to make them set.
Lastly, the lips. She gives them a nice and natural look by applying lip balm. Then, to give them some colour, she uses a lip pencil on the outer part followed by completely covering lips with a lipstick.
Tip: An interesting note is that Graham does not directly apply the lipstick. Instead, she uses her finger tip to tap in the colour so it doesn't appear so aggressive.
