  1. Megaformer

 
As a high intensity version of Pilates, Megaformer, is a celebrity favorite. Many A-listers credit their fit bodies to this new exercise: Kim Kardashian, Lea Michele and Bella Thorne are just a select few who have fallen in love with the method. The work out helps tackle the five elements of physical fitness: flexibility, endurance, strength, cardio and body composition, and it involves a bed-like machine and a series of levers, pulleys and weights in order to target these five elements.




 

  1. Virtual Boxing

 
There are several things that can deter you from going to the gym or attending a work out class. However, virtual boxing makes working out much more convenient. With virtual boxing you can complete your work out at home or even in a hotel when you're on a business trip. The form of boxing consists of 30-minute videos per class where you can expect to burn at least 600 calories. The structure of the class includes shadow boxing alternated with high-intensity intervals and knock-out rounds.




 

  1. Mixed Format Classes

 
These work out classes include a mixture of various forms of exercise combined into one single class. Typically, mixed format classes include both cardio and strength training. A mixture of both forms of work out is better on the body in the long run, since it doesn't result in strained muscles or joints. In addition, the fact that these classes break up the work out method, it is unlikely that you will go into class anticipating the same routines as you would in typical fitness classes.
